Queen Mary signs on to Confex 2019
Queen Mary University of London will return to International Confex in 2019 on stand AVP9 as part of the dedicated 'Academic Venues' Pavillion. The exhibition, which takes place on the 26th and 27th February at Olympia Grand is the largest single gathering of UK event organisers in one room.
With the UK HE funding solution in a state of debate and discussion - the sector is increasingly looking closer to home to bring additional revenue into institutions to reinvest in both the student experience and world class facilities. Queen Mary is no different, and the Commercial Sales and Events team is seeking to connect with relevant buyers attending Confex, with a view to making valuable contacts for conversion to events.
The team is passionate about sharing Queen Mary's facilities with buyers, as its venues are often unique and unusual and on-trend with current market appetite. Event hire provides buyers with a way to consume a Russell Group university via the medium of events, and allows them to understand more about the University's ethos and identity to inspire family and friends to study here.
Amongst the exciting venues available for hire are a spectacular art deco theatre - the Great Hall and an enchanting Victorian former library - the Octagon, providing flexibility and ambience; alongside contemporary lecture theatres and seminar rooms with accommodation options each summer.
